I know I have myself posted quite many times about Yogurt and how much I like it and I like to add Cucumber, Onions, Tomatoes and even boiled potatoes in them and that tastes so yummy. But I always thought that Yogurt is just the other and more renowned name of Curd and I have seen that most here don't even know about Curd. So I wanna know what is Yogurt and how it's different from Curd? Please share.

I don’t know what curd is. Yogurt is basically milk that has been fermented.

Curd is what Little Miss Muffet ate awhile sitting on her Tuffet...she mixed it with Whey.

Drain the water from the curd to get yogurt. It takes 2-3 hours for complete draining

I think that "curd" is a more generic word as yogurt is done with curdled milk. But maybe yogurt is made with a special culture to ferment the milk.
