An "A" Day Celebration

My sister and her family visited a few weeks ago for vacation, and we celebrated my niece's "A" Day anniversary. It marks six years since Amyra came to live with them. They get a cake for her adoption anniversary just like you would a birthday cake. Amyra wanted a "cake" made up of mini cupcakes. The pearls on the princess dress are even edible. They were chocolate cupcakes with the best icing I ever tasted.
She's just the best.
So, what was the last thing you celebrated?

What a beautiful cake. I am not sure. I think it may have been my granddaughter birthday in January.

How nice! The cake looks gorgeous! Looks so yummy, with all that creamy frosting! It wasn't a celebration, but remembrance on Mother's Day, since my Mother passed last year.

Thank you. And we feel it hard especially at Mother's Day. Pulling out pictures and reminiscing helps.

I guess the last thing I celebrated was my aunt's 95th birthday a couple years ago.
That's a pretty cake.

Those are beautiful cupcakes. Really a work of art. My parents birthday party was last weekend and this weekend is Mother's Day and daddy's birthday (which we already celebrated).

First I couldn't recognize that it is a cake, it looks to good to be a cake. It's really amazing.
