I would like to address something here

I want the person that accused me of living in the past to know that I very much know where my feelings are. If it is about the Holocaust I do not live in the past. I want people to know what is going on in the world and that they should never forget what happened because it is happening today. If that is what he meant about living in the past then according to Judaism we cannot forget what happened to our people and find a way to prevent it from happening again. When I say something I feel I know what I am talking about. I will not let someone say something about me without backing it up. They do not know me and I do know me. If the person is referring to my grandfather. Yes, I miss him everyday of my life and I feel I am entitled to.

If they bother you about your life just block them. I have a motto and its "Forgive but never forget." by doing that I do not carry around the burden of hate.

Hanni, who is that person troubling you? People will always pretend they know but in reality, they are idiots. I dont waste my time on them. Their stupidity will get the best of them.

The person who said this to you likely has not been through the heart break of losing someone they are very close to. They simple can't understand how it feels to be understanding about it. They think they know but they really don't unless they have been there themselves. Even then each situation is different and everyone grieves differently. As far as history goes I agree it's important to remember the past and use that knowledge to better the future.

There is an explanation that we should learn from the past and that those who forget the past are bound to repeat it. So, we should keep the past in mind and use it become better in the present and in the future.
