It's Already Mid-Week

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Another day with sunshine and blue skies so I'm continuing my happy dance.
I'm enjoying the quiet morning and just having my coffee before my daughter gets up and we start the day. We have a few errands to run but not enough to keep us out for long.
Mother's Day is this weekend so the whole family will be here. I'm trying to decide what to cater for us to eat as I want to relax and no one should have to be a slave in the kitchen for Mother's Day. I'm leaning toward the traditional Italian food but this always happens to me. It sounds like a good idea and then there are so many good things to choose from I can't make up my mind.
Back in the good old days when I was young and agile I'd whip up a meal for company without a blink of an eye.
Anyway, nothing much happening here in my little corner of the myLot world.

Happy Wednesday!
We usually have dinner at home for mothers day,
because my mom and or brother always seem to work,
but we go out another day to make up for it..
this year will be different I think to where we don't do anything. sadly.

Same here I used to not think twice, look in the pantry and make a meal, now I have to think and say no and then yes before I make a meal, maybe this comes with old age? LOL

My brother-in-law is making million dollar spaghetti for our family. I've never had it before. I'm making coleslaw and one sister is bringing garlic bread and the other pudding cake.
