it's been a while since i bought scratch-it tickets.
i bought three different kinds worth 20 pesos each (39 us cents each).
one ticket won 150 pesos, another ticket won 170 pesos.
therefore, i spent 60 pesos (US$1.16), but won 320 pesos (US$ 6.16).
nice! because it meant i "recovered" the money i spent earlier buying some veggies, meds and a snack.
at the supermarket, i had to buy a new mop with bucket.
the staff that demoed how to assemble it said i could buy just the mop, which is cheaper, but, unfortunately, they're out of stock.
when i paid for it, the actual price was discounted from 1,200 pesos to 550 pesos only! (from US$ 23.11 to US$ 10.59).
yes!
it's nice to win and luck out once in a while.

You had good luck, For years I use to buy 1 lotto ticket worth 20 pesos daily, I know the chance of winning the jackpot is almost zero but its comforting to think that I was helping charity.
I stopped it now but instead I add the 20 pesos to buy fractions of bitcoins and ethereum also in an almost daily basis, I think I have a better chance of winning here, I also temporarily stopped giving to charity because of all the news of corruption in our government right now.

i still don't understand the lotto to this day. i only i learned about the scratch it tickets maybe 2 yrs ago. i only buy 2-3 tickets, maybe 3x a month. when i don't win, i tell myself it's my contribution to charity.

@hereandthere actually I also do not know how to buy lotto tickets, I just gave my money to my brother cause he is the one who loves to go to the outlet and buy, I just give him my 6 numbers and my 20 pesos, never tried doing it on my own.

That's five hundred pesos worth of mop? what can that do? I bought a mop just merely 3 dollars. Wow you got lucky with that discount.

Yes, I did online. I was looking for my medicine Tums and it was out of stock in SnR so I opted to check it online.
Some online shop they don't have a stock of it, so I tried a different one and thank God I was able to get one.
It's only for 355 pesos, plus other shipping fees, the total should be 695 pesos, and I only have 600 pesos saving in my Paypal. Thank God I was able to get a discount and I only paid 545 pesos.

I take them before 3 times a day or after a meal. Then the Doctor at the center had me stop taking it 2 years ago because my Calcium is okay, not until this year. It goes down so I need to take Tums again.

Sometimes, me and my mother buy scratch it tickets when we go to Baguio.
I remember, I read a few days ago about the "modus operandi" of some lotto outlet operators with regards to these scratch it cards. The former operator said, they can peep into the scratch card for some codes and they already know if it's a winning card. Those 5,000 and up though have no permanent codes.
So, make sure the scratch cards don't have scratches yet, even a small scratch could reveal that they are trying to cheat players.

yeah, i've read that it's actually easier to cheat now that everything's computerized (including elections). oh, well.

@hereandthere yes.. Actually I went there a while ago and it was really tough. There's heavy traffic going up, then there was long queue in catching a bus going home. Actually there were lots of buses but there were a lot of people. I had to ride a bus going to a different destination and another route instead of falling in line. It took me about 4 hours to arrive at home instead of the usual two-hour ride.

You have had a lucky day then very pleased for you.
I have never really won anything in the sense of money.
Although once I did find 500 pesetas that was of then and tried to find the owner but could not so I gave it to charity instead.
