School Trip was a Success!

As a father, I try my best to keep my kids happy but in the end my main concern is their safety. The school sent permission slips to take the kids to the aquarium and I had no problem with that, what I did have a problem with was the transport and my kids safety. I live practically in a third world country and they were packing up to 15 kids in a mini van wich is and was extremely dangerous god forbid they get into an accident. I didnt want to keep them home since all their friends were going so I took the day off, signed the permission slips and decided to take my kids in my own Jeep where they are comfortable with AC and most importantly, SAFE! In the end it turned out to be a great school trip, my kids had an awesome time and learned about the marine life here in the carribean. School trip was an overall success!

Yeah it looked very uncomfortable and not one kid had a seat belt on,I pass on that. If I can take my kids in the comfort of the jeep I bought for my family then trust me I will go out my way to make sure they are safe lol

Yes, as parents, we always worry about the safety of our children. But why can't schools provide them with better vehicles?

@BACONSTRIPSXXX That is too bad. If it were me, I would pay more for the child's safety.

Because they are on a low budjet, if they were to get a school bus the trip would go from 15 dollars to almost 30 dollars and alot of the parents cant pay soo much etc

Hi Michael. We use buses when we field trips. But still so glad the kids had fun. They need to be exposed outside and be able to see what their surroundings look.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I understand, Michael. But I guess, whats important is the experience they will get from the field trips.
