My Cat Had Kittens

This has been a big week. My cat "Tifa" (after a Final Fantasy character) has had some kittens. Luckily, we were very prepaired. We knew the exact date she got out (March 5th) and knew it would be sometime this week. Well, she had them surprisingly on my daughters 11th birthday. It was an awesome birthday present (we aren't keeping them, but still) for Emily. Luckily there are only three. But they are so cute and my cat is definately a proud momma. She wonders around the house, meowing and isn't satisfied until someone goes back and looks at them. It is so sweet.
The picture above, my sister sent me. I have permission to use it. This is Tifa and her first born.

i had a cat once give birth to 7 kittens ! i just her keep popping them out, it wouldnt stop. it remined me of my childhood days playing with the play doh factory and just seeing the play doh go through the opening. i think im still a bit scarred from it. i probably suffer from "traumatic feline birthing shock syndrome".

I am really surprised how a cat can be so generous about her litter! She is very possessive and change the litter from place to place to keep them protected! Nice to know that you have such a nice cat! Thanks @star_disgate!

@AKRao24 she is in the bathroom. She is funny, because she will get in the bucket they are in and sit on them and they cry and she does this little growl like "sorry momma's tired." Then she repositions herself so they aren't smooshed.

Right? I have experienced this once before and that cat was all over the place with her kittens. The moment she hears anyone near by, she pops out and kind of waves us to the bathroom. Then she gets a proud mama look on her face. It's sweet.

Birthday is the key word here: it was your daughter birthday, and Tifa gave birth at the same day. I suggest you to keep them so you can keep celebrating birthdays to your daughter and the kittens. I guess it is too late to suggest it, the 5th of march was 2 months ago so you probably gave the kittens away.
Who knows, maybe you will have great and funny moments with the cats.
Can you please tell us some more about Tifa the cat ? Does she hunt rats ? mice ? cockroaches ? anything ?
Does she know any trick ? any funny habbit ?

She actually just had them on May 7th. What I meant by March 5th, was that's the day Tifa got out of the house and more than likely the day she got pregnant.
We already have 7 cats and 7 dogs as well. So we are over the limit.
Tifa is a sweet cat. She loves attention. In fact, the bathroom (Where she is now) is her favorite place, so it's a little hard to use the restroom, because she jumps all over you purring.
She has 2 biological brothers that we took in as well, Milo and Viserion.

@star_disgate That's good to have some pets around, How do you take care of all of them ?
They need food, medicine or at least a veterinar once in a while...(in my country, a dog owner has to take his dog for some basic shots, and once per year a shot against rabies...That's the minimum.

@stringer321 I live at home with my parents and sister. The dogs are all theirs so they take care of that. With cats, we handle the vet stuff as needed!
