My friend invited himself for tea.

One of the friends I had for over 3 months here called me to tell me that could he come to get the check with the money the Bank finally returned. He wanted to have tea here and asked what he could bring.
As they always want only fresh bread I told him to bring some. I went on Monday to the supermarket and have a lot of goodies to eat.
I am curious and worried that he is coming alone. His wife, my friend, is staying at home. I found them strange when they lived here. I don´t know if the fight they had with their children triggered this behavior or if it was their behavior the cause of the fight. Anyway, I am very sorry for them. They are very much alone and they do not know how to change that.
Today I will give Hugo a nice tea. I even have some almond cake

I would try and find ways to help make them Happy and want to be together. Encourage them. Find ways to make them enjoy doing things together

I hope you enjoy your tea with your friend. Why does your friend now bring his wife with him when he comes for tea.? I don’t think there is anything you can do for them just be there and listen to them. I hope they get their issues taken care of with their children.

I doubt there is much you can do to change them or the situation. Just continue as you're doing I guess. You did more than your share taking them in for so long.
