Regret by remembering past!..

You don't want to ask personal questions but are asking if people regret something in their lives? What does that mean? Something impersonal then? I don't understand what you mean. "And past is something which has no link with our present and future!" - Sorry, but that's another mysterious sentence. A simple example: After finishing school I went to a university town far away from my hometown. My life would have been completely different if I had chosen a different university in a different town. I would have met different people, I would be married to a different man or not at all, I would have got a job in a different part of the country, etc., etc.

You're right. As long as we don't mean to do something bad. We don't need to regret the past. Otherwise, we will live in the past forever, and we can't cherish the present. Of course, we all try not to make some mistakes.

It is a test, that god gives. In retrospect everybody is wiser. LOL. I guess we have to accept us, with our flaws and failures because nobody else will. Expecting others to accept us even half way means us forgiving us, and moving on. We can then try not to repeat same mistakes again. That is wisdom I think. To think that we have reached the ultimate place in life, and everybody is ahead of us is silly because the end of race is the point where we die. Who knows where they will be then? Or where we will be then. We need to remain focused on what we want and achieve those wants and not focused on what others want and try to achieve those goals forgetting our needs and wants. We won't be happy with others targets in life for sure.

yes there are , but its too old now so just trying to forget

There are three different things I can think of at the moment that I wish I hadn't done in my past. I wish I could go back in time and not to have done them.

Yes I also have regrets but still I am happy for what I am now..

I don't have any regrets from past. But past had to do a lot with our present and future. What we gave done in our past decides our present and what we do in present will decide future to a great extent

Yes, there are lots of things that I regret in the past if only I can undo the past I'm going to do it.
