College Graduation and some ranting

This past Saturday on May 5th I graduated from college. It was supposed to rain so they moved it inside, then moved it back outside when they saw the rain wasn't supposed to start until later that afternoon. We got lucky and the rain held off until about 40 minutes after graduation and it poured down. It has now rained every day since graduation as well. I made a big decision to stay up here in the mountains after graduation. I am still looking for a job in the area but have been in several interviews. I went for a second interview with the chamber of commerce yesterday. She loved me and told me I was more than qualified for the event part of the job but I don't have an accounting experience. She does have an intern that does and is already there 25 hours a week and she was talking with the board this morning to see if she could split the job duties between us. I am hoping for good news later today or tomorrow. I always have an interview with the Boys & Girls Club tomorrow at 10 am. I have filled out several more applications today as well. I also have a friend that is willing to send me all of her old pet sitting jobs that she had while she was here. My boyfriend and I found a lovely little place to rent in a good neighborhood for pretty cheap. We are hopefully moving in there towards the end of May. This is a great thing because where we are staying at now is terrible. His roommate is a white male in his late 40s to early 50s and he is lazy, dirty, believes women should do all the housework, is disrespectful, and doesn't even have a job. HE IS BROKE! I told my boyfriend we needed to move quickly before he couldn't pay his bills and it bites us in the butt. He quit his job because he said it was too hard, but I believe he got fired because he was always coming home telling us how he was breaking things, blaming it on others, and even told the boss he wasn't going to work night shifts at all anymore. He doesn't take any responsibility for his actions. and blames it on others all the time. We see this more now that he is home and has now blamed my boyfriend for several damaged things in the house that were damaged before we moved in and/or by his own cat. He has a pile of dirty clothes by the dryer that has been there since December when we moved in, he never washes his dishes and just expects me to do them when I wash our dishes, never takes the trash out and on the rare chance, he does he never puts a trash bag back in. He even had the nerve to ask my boyfriend if I would wash his clothes and clean his room for him because that's what women are for. My boyfriend told him no and didn't tell me what he said until months later. I don't even want to get started on the way he treats his animals either. He owns a "farmer" I use quotations because it is far from that. He has 5 horses and claims to have a riding business as well but that is nothing as well. He even claims to have a degree in business from App State but we just found out yesterday that he never graduated. Makes sense since he has three failed businesses now and a failed rental property. Anyway, my boyfriend and I have had to take care of his horses multiple times since he has left them locked up in stalls all night and almost all day (about 3:00 - 4:00 pm when my bf gets off) with either just one small bucket of water or none at all. He has gone several days without feeding his cats and not telling anyone so we could at least feed it. The poor thing jumped up on the 4wheeler and tried to eat Nova's (bf's dog) food when fixing her bowl because he hadn't been fed in few days so I gave him a big helping of dry and wet food in his bowls. My boyfriend is going to be a cop this upcoming August and he was even warned by the officer he is currently shadowing to get/stay away fromt his man because he has a lot of enemies and was not on good terms with the cops. I am just so ready to be away from this man and never have to see him again.

The end of the month can't get here fast enough. We are going to try for sometime in the next week to move if the other man will let us.

What a slob that man is - it's one thing not to look after himself properly, but it's unforgiveable to neglect animals. Can't you report him to an animal society?
