I just had a situation that is literally one of the craziest situations when talking to someone online.
So, I am on this app called Whisper, you post anonymously, you can talk to people in messaging and get to know them if you feel like it. And so I started talking to someone and we like really hit it off and we decided to exchange numbers.
I have Ting so it gets really buggy at times with texting so today I asked if we could talk on Facebook messenger. I didn't want to add him on Facebook because that is too personal, but I wanted to talk easier and add him on messenger.
So he tells me his last name and my jaw almost unhinged because I was in such disbelief. I went to high school with this guy!
We never talked except for like once maybe, but I remember seeing him all the time and he was in JROTC, I wasn't in his class but I do always remember him in his uniform.
Gosh, this is so weird haha! I'm just being a goober when talking to him, but I can't help it, it is so weird but cool!

Yep, it really is a small world! When I was a teenager, I had a huge crush on this guy who worked in the electronics department at Walmart, but I was always too shy to talk to him. Fast forward to my early 20s, and I started talking to this guy who randomly friended me on Myspace, and I started to really like him. After about 6 months of talking online, we finally met up in person, and on our first date it hit me that he was my Walmart guy. He looked a bit different (had a goatee and shorter hair when we went out -- he was clean-shaven and had long hair back when he worked at Walmart) but it was him. And we've been together for going on 11 years now.
Oh, and once we'd been dating for about a year, I realized that one of my cousins was married into his family. Really small world, haha!
