Feeling dizzy and lightheaded

I went for my walk and noon but I didn't go very far. I am feeling lightheaded and dizzy. I had vertigo a few years back and it feels similar to that but then again it could be just cause I am really tired. I am looking forward to this work day ending so I can go home and lay down. Only 3 and a half more hours to go.
Since all I went through last year it always worries me when I am not feeling good. Before that I never would have given it a second thought. I don't want to keep running to the ER to get looked at when it may not be anything. I guess I will just wait and see how I feel after a nap.
Hope you are all having a great day/night.

I can imagine how you feel.
I remember after my brain tumor was removed I was reluctant to tell my parents that I had a headache because I caught my father crying once after I did that.
I hope that the afternoon passes quickly and you can get home and get that rest in.
Take care.

@andriaperry It was the summer that I turned 12 years old, and the surgery was actually 2 days after our birthday.

Thanks Julia. That must have been very difficult for you and your parents to go through.

I think you need to get your blood pressure checked.I think you need to take all symptoms seriously.

Given what you have been through over the past year, no one is going to fault you for being overly cautious. I hope you are feeling better now. Please don't hesitate to go to the ER if you think something is wrong.

Yes but you can never get in for a week. They just say go to the ER and then you have to sit 5 hours there waiting to get looked at. I would much rather be home laying down then sitting in an ER for hours. If it gets worse though I will have to go get it checked.

Have your ears checked. Sometimes, in spring, my ears are slightly stopped up and makes me dizzy.

If you think it's vertigo you can remedy that without going to the ER. Just lie flat on your bed face up. Turn your head 45° to the right. Hold it for 30 seconds. Turn your head to the 90° position to your right. Hold that for 30 seconds. Move your head back to the 45° position and hold for 30 seconds. Turn your head face up and hold for 30 seconds. Repeat the same thing to your left side. That always worked for me.

Thank you I will try that when I get home. I think that may be what is it because it feels much the same as it did the last time I had it.

I hope all worked out well for you.
Here is was a bit cool but a sunny day and I got a lot of errands done. I even bought a couple of herb plants that I want to see if I can grow and take a few leaves every now and then to eat.

I had this symptom many years ago, when I was very anemic. I hope you get better soon. If you still feel bad, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible.Take care, dear friend.

I hope you are feeling better by now. If you continue to feel poorly, please don't hesitate to get checked out at the ER. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks I am sure it will pass once I rest. Working on a couple of hours sleep difficult.
