Good Afternoon everyone!
Whoohoo it's Friday. I'm sure many of you are doing the dance of joy and looking forward to the weekend.
I just got back from Sams Club where we got stuff we needed for Mother's Day. I know I mentioned that the whole family will be here so it calls for buying some things in bulk. Since we decided to cater and eat buffet style we are going with some heavy duty paper plates, cups and utensils. I figure if we're not cooking we don't need to do dishes 
Originally it looked like it would be nice weather for Mother's Day but now we might be getting rain. I'm hoping it not a washout as it's nice when the grandkids can go outside and run around and burn off some of their endless energy.
After I have my lunch I have a few things to do around the house but then I want to sit and relax.
Other than getting ready for company on Mother's Day things are pretty routine here for a Friday.
What's happening in your neck of the woods?

The kids had Field Day at school. Lots of sun and fun. The fire department brought out a fire engine and soaked them all with the water hoses. They had a blast. I didn't get too much done at home but the day was enjoyable!

I am really enjoying the shorter hours, and I didn't think that I would.
Somehow, I am doing almost as much work as before in a lot less time.

Hope all goes beautifully for you on Mother's Day! The kids can always play some indoor games if it rains.
I had a lovely morning outside playing with my annuals. My husband brought home huge salads loaded with everything, so we shared it with our cleaning lady.
I'm so looking forward to Mother's Day. My son and his bride planned a dinner out downtown at our favorite restaurant. Her parents are joining us, naturally. This restaurant also serves vegan, vegetarian, and meat, seafood, and chicken dishes, so all should be very happy. My husband also had a smirk on his face, so I know he's up to something!

Usually the guys will bbq and the moms get to sit and relax. But this weekend we're due for rain so we're going to be indoors so we hedged our bets and went with catering. If the weather is nice then we still don't have to cook
