Ok, I have to finally agree with all those from you who said, several times, in the past, talking about different "new writing sites"... that people go to other sites, paying sites, and when those sites finally don't pay, they come back to MyLot.
I post just from time to time here. For me, more than a "paying site", MyLot is a place where I can practice my English (not the first reason, by the way), where I read interesting posts, opinions, ideas...
Well, to the point: Few days ago I decided to join Virily. And then, I found out people is complaining. First, your dashboard doesn't show your real points, it's always "Pending". I have to say the idea of writing there was so appealing to me... The site is nice, attractive. But it's a pity. Seems it's going down.
I'll be there to see what happens... Have you tried that site? If so, what's your experience there?
(Note: I don't know mentioning the name of that site is a problem here. If so, please let me know and I'll change that -I think I can edit posts, right?)

After hints from a friend who has been on Virily for over a year I finally broke down and joined them just this week and I love it. There are some bugs, yes, and a lot of lag in the response time, but of all the PTW sites I've seen, other than MyLot I like Virily best. It is a lot like the now defunct Bubblews only without the silly nonsense. I didn't have any trouble seeing my points. Will look for you there.

Hey! You're there! Great! I haven't posted much there, but the look and feel are great, I definitely like it. About my points, ok, there are still some bugs. One day is ok, the day after you can't see yesterdays points. You know. But the way it works is nice, you can also find nice people there. So.... I just need time! haha By the way, my profile name there is "Angeles". Are you "Ann Hartley"??

I have heard of many pay-to-write sites, but none like MyLot. I haven't checked out the other site, nor will I. There is only so much time in my life so I don't need to be writing on a bunch of different sites. I need to be working on my writing. Period.
