One fact about firefighters is that not only are they on call on a 24 hours and seven days a week schedule, they also get calls to rescue animals stuck in trees and now children who get stuck inside a claw machine. Palatine Fire Department Captain Franck Klucek and his crew were called on Thursday to rescue a three year old child that was stuck inside a claw machine that has toys inside as prizes. The laundry shop is located on the 1200 block of West Dundee Street. The firefighters cut the top part of the claw machine. Then one fireman went inside the arcade game to get the young boy out of the arcade game while a second firefighter handed the boy to his mother. However the child did get two toys from the arcade game as his prize even though he needed help from the firefighters to get him out of the machine. How he entered inside the claw machine remains a mystery.

I'm wondering how he did that too. I'm glad they got him out.

@Deepizzaguy I see them everywhere, especially at Wal-Mart. I can't fathom how that child got into it.

I have seen those machines in bowling alleys and it is hard for an adult to jump into in of those machines.

I was also wondering how he got into it. And also where was his mother while he was getting there. I´d fine his mother and make her pay for the firefighter´s help.

I guess the mom was busy while her child went inside the claw machine. I am also wondering how he managed to get in since they are very large for an average person to get inside one.

@Deepizzaguy Still, from the child´s point of view, it was a lovely place to get into

@marguicha That is true since these games do attract children.

Maybe it was his arm that caught reaching inside.

I'm always impressed by the job that firefighters do. They are there when desperately needed
