Well, here in Northern part of India, especially the plains, we have long summer season which has -warm and dry weather- till early April -Hot and dry weather- Mid April to early/Mid May -Hot and Humid/very humid weather- Mid May to early August -Hot/Humid/Rainy/Very rainy - Intersecting period starting from late June to lat August/early September Now, the part : Hot and Humid/very Humid weather has started- It feels so uncomfortable outside as well as at home. This is the part many of us do not like. Yet we have to go through this part. Sometimes AC too faces some burden, and is not as effective. So how is the weather at your place?

The weather here is fine, it's not that cold because sometimes it's sunny but most of the time it's raining ..

The season in England is spring. It is fairly warm and sunny however a cold wind persists which makes it feel quite cold. In England we have a temperate climate with four seasons. Our next one will be summer when we sometimes have hot weather. Since 2013 the UK government made head teachers not allow holidays in school term time. My children get a 2 week break for Christmas, one week in February, 2 weeks for Easter, one week for late May/early June, 6 weeks in late July/August and one week in October. It was hard to fit in a trip to snowy areas in Europe during the Christmas break. Flight prices are expensive for the half terms, Easter and even more so for the school holiday. We asked the school for a holiday in term time to be able to visit India in its good weather season. They accepted however with a sting in the tail sort of feeling.

@maximax8 glad to see you responding. I recall that way back in 2009 to 2012, we used to interact more on mylot. Well here kids have breaks from around Mid May to June end plus 2 or 3 days in July. Then the monsoon season of hot and humid and rainy days start and schools reopens. No such breaks for us officegoers.

@responsiveme well rains do bring relief, even though heavy rains cause waterlogging, traffic jams and other issues, but still in some ways it is better than the hot and humid heat.

Yep. Here too. Getting hot and humid. Finally had to break the seal last week and turned on the air.
