Waiting for plans to happen

In June 2017 I paid off my mortgage and it was such a happy time for me. I learned about an American guru called Dave Ramsey. While I was trying to pay off my mortgage I watched his amazing debt free screams. These people's stories gave me extra strength to carry on my mortgage free plans.
I have found out about Dave Ramsey's Baby Steps to be financially successful. Baby Step 1 is to save $1000 for a beginners emergency fund. I managed to get that at the end of 2017.
Currently I am saving up to buy a new front door. I hope to have it fitted at the beginning of June. Next I plan to save up to buy a new garage door. Are you excited about your future plans? What are you plans for the near future?

I need to listen to this guy. First time I've heard about Dave Ramsey.
Thanks for the recommendation.

I actually sat in and took his course directly from him, several years back.
Before I lost all my earthly possessions, and my health took a spiral downward... I was able to work, and putting his plans to work, I managed to save over $20,000 in six months.
I don't have the materials from the course anymore... So I can't go and refer back to them. But I do remember that his method's really worked, if you applied them.
I never realized how much money I was blowing, until I took his course. Good job on paying off your mortgage. BTW!!!

Teresa Trotter it is amazing that you took Dave Ramsey's course from him several years ago. It is a pity your health has taken a downturn. I am sorry that you lost all your earthly possessions. Well done for saving $20,000 in six months in the past. I will write another post telling people how I managed to pay off my mortgage. It was very hard to do.
