I finally was successful in getting an appointment with my chiropractor for tomorrow morning. I am sure he can fix my problem which seems to be a sciatic nerve thing. He is usually very good at what he does. Can't wait for that pain to go away, first time ever I got this. Have you ever had a sciatic nerve pain?

I had that at times when I was pregnant, but Hubby gets it every now and then - it runs down his leg too. His stems from his lower back . . . he went through physical therapy not too long ago and was given exercises to help with this particular back issue - as long as he does he stretching routine daily, he is good. Good luck with the appointment tomorrow!

So the blocking problem has been solved. I'm glad about that. I couldn't imagine why you'd like to block me.

I have had sciatic pain so bad that I could barely move. However, I sucked it up and did my best until the pain level went down. Took a while to get it to go away. I did exercises to help it along. My husband had to see a chiropractor for his. He was glad he did.

I suffered from sciatica for about 2 years. To be honest, the one thing that constantly help me was violence (wrestling) . This kept me alert and free of depression. And a touch of brandy (teaspoon) helped too. Physical relaxation. I was not on any medication. My sciatica was severe. I no longer have it.

Never had sciatic nerve pain, but I do see the chiropractor often for my cervical radiculopathy and arthritis. It seems to help, but I still have to take something for the pain often.

@porwest, your pain in the neck area must be pretty severe. Can't have any chiropractor treatment in this area as I am on Warfarin and it is risky.

@marlina It's worse on some days, better on others. But always there. Never thought about being on a blood thinner and not being able to go. But it makes sense.
