I'm in the process of buying a TRUCK

I have had cars, a minivan, my current car(my Aztek) is considered a "crossover SUV" whatever that means.. But I have never owned a pickup truck and I really need one to do stuff and buy stuff for the house.
So I figured.. it's time to bit the bullet.
We went looking for a different truck.. but this one was the cleanest underneath.. no rust.. and a little more expensive then I originally wanted to pay.. but it's been hard trying to find one that is not a rust bucket..
So this will be my new toy. And maybe my poor Crikey (my Aztek) can take a break once in awhile... I will have to think of a name for this Big Truck

My favourite subject cars! I'm just trying to imagine myself parking that beast! I tend to go for smaller cars due to my rubbish parking skills

LOL. I love cars too.. this is a monster of a truck and so far... I have parked at the far end of the parking lots and usually take up a couple spaces.. ti doesn't quite fit in one very well. I love the way it rides. very smooth. almost like a luxury vehicle.

@sprite1950 yes I do feel pretty safe in it.. High up and with a big nose an tail.. I think it should protect well!

wow, a beautiful truck that is, my friend. i hope it is not as expensive as a brand new car. hahaha! do you really prefer the color to be black? that is black, isn't it?

@minx267 i get it. my big brother also sold his jeep of 20 years to a prospective buyer there in Southend-on-sea, UK. he bought a second-hand red SUV and he said although the car is all push button, it is still a manual transmission. huh? how is that? hahaha

@LadyDuck I do not like small cars anymore.. I have a crossover/SUV now and prior to this it was a minivan.. once driving these cars that are a little higher up I do not want to have another car and be sitting so low again.. it is not comfortable for me. It makes me nervous if there were an accident.. I would rather be higher off the ground... though granted this truck may be TOO HIGH.. lol

@minx267 I had a ford F150 4x4 off road. Would love to find it again. I should not have sold it, but wanted to save on insurance after I got the chevy blazer I have now.

That is what we went there to look at... then we were finding rust on the underside of so many.. so we just started looking at ALL of the trucks on the property. and this one was clean. So we test drove it.. and with any luck I should have it in a day or two.
