There are many reasons why some people run away or attempt or think of running away from home... I know maybe some of us have run away from home during our younger years for host of reasons. I know how it is to run away from home...I know the feelings...I have run away from home for two weeks and it's good my parents look and find me...otherwise It will be a different story and I'll not be here in myLot today! What are the reasons why people run away from home? Picture credit: heroism.wikia.com

No, I never felt like doing so! I was naughty, used to get good beating at my place , but at the same time my parents used to love me along with my other siblings. so I never felt liking running away from the home! Thanks!

When I was little I ran away once. When I was older, I was kicked out on the street by my own mother at age 16 because she wanted my stepfather around more than me and he made her choose. Long story, but no matter what you're going through or why, there is always hope and a way out. Don't run away, but run to where you need to be.

The reasons vary. It may be there is misunderstanding or maybe because they want to explore.

@mandala100 I don't recall running away from home when I was a kid and I cannot understand why I did not. When I was married I left for about 4 days and wanted to take my dog but my ex who was not my ex at the time would not let me. I hated him and needed to get away for a few days.

I haven't run away properly but when I was 15 I disappeared for a day and hid under a railway bridge, When it got dark and cold I went home. I was always arguing with my parents at that age.

My home life wasn't the best and yes, I did attempt it, but I never got very far before I turned back and went home. My sister was gone for two weeks. When she got home, my mother grounded her.

Some run away from home because of love. If the parents disagree with their choice, they an elope with their lover. While others can run away because of maltreatment. Others run just to be independent. Etc I have not run away from home before

I never tried running away from home before when I was young but I wanted to. But I remember running away from home 2 years ago, I'm sick already. I was running away from home because I got pissed, parents let my 4th Brother's girlfriend sleep in our house. I end up sleeping at the bus station, rent a folding bed there for 40 pesos, I sleep there for 5 hours that's after my Dialysis session. Then 3rd Brother fetch me and let me sleep to their house the whole morning.
