i didn't type this discussion

i am currently at work and i am not allowed to use smartphones. if you noticed my discussions these days rarely have capital letters. the reason for that is I dictate my discussions to alexa. i received an amazon echo as a gift and i am trying to use it so i can improve my accent which is necessary to the voice over jobs i do online. there are times that i am frustrated with alexa because she doesn't understand what i say and she clicks and types the wrong things. your responses on my discussions are actually read to me by alexa. i can't type because i am using my hand at work. i am now at the deboning section of the meat factory where I work. if you see some spelling errors blame it to alexa if you seek capital letters on my post most likely i am using a pc when i made that post but now it's all alexa

Oh hi Alexa. Is she like Siri?

i actually think siri is easier to use because alexa is giving me a lot of grammar problems because it doesn't know how to capitalize letters unless i will spell it

@CaptAlbertWhisker Oh yah, I noticed. Yes, Siri seems to know how to capitalize letters or even use punctuation marks.

I understood your problem, as you said dictating some times can create some funny blunders too! So I have tried it few times and found that typing is much easy than to correct the passage thus created! Thanks!

i cant use my hand at this moment though so i just dictate things. the model i use is an echo dot because i don't want to have that pringles can. echo dot is more portable

what she can do though is very limited. I have to simplify some terms I use because she have issues with my pronunciation.

@CaptAlbertWhisker If she is right most of the time, she is worthy of praise.

I don't think I can write any post or response on a phone.

Alexa is not a Phone, she is a digital assistant speaker.

I should try to dictate more often. I’m currently using Siri. What I like doing the most is to dictate the punctuation. Hopefully this will improve my pronunciation.

I am trying to dictate to improve my pronunciation by using Alexa so I can book more commercial jobs.
