Who you are related to. On the news last night, they did a piece on the Gooch Elementary School of Dallas. They are using a robot named Milo to interact with kids who have Autism. In this school, 1 in 5 kids has Autism. "Milo" is a 2-foot tall robot that speaks slowly and reiterates sentences and the teachers are surprised at the fact that the kids are becoming more outgoing, confident and more willing to speak and interact. My title to this piece is because Tom C. Gooch (1880-1952) is a relative of mine. He was a former publisher, editor-in-chief, president of the Dallas Times Herald, chairman of the board of KRLS radio, director of the State Fair of Texas, director of the Dallas Metropolitan Opera, board of directors of Southwest Medical School, participant in the Community Chest and the American Red Cross. So, you just never know who you're related too.
