Today was my three month check up, I go to keep a check on the diabetes and make sure I get my hormone refills, they keep me sane. I had him to look at a couple spots on my upper back that itch like crazy and he decided it was chigger bites, He looked at the poison oak rash on my ankles and said he would prescribe some cream. I asked him "why my finger nails have ripples"and he said " Diabetes in you case, but sometimes thyroid problems but you don`t have that problem," He added " look at mine they are the same as yours." I asked "why are yours rippled? you have diabetes?" and he shook his head yes. My mouth dropped open and I frowned because I just gave him a jar of honeysuckle jelly, I take that type of stuff to him all the time! I said as I shook my head " And I just have you jelly!" He smiled and said "my wife doesn`t." and he was not about to turn loose of that jar. I know he will slip and eat it, all diabetic say F it every now and then and has something sweet. Good news : I lost 4 pounds Bad news : Blood pressure was 143 /74 so I am to lay off salt. Its never high, I will check it here to see what I get. But I will obey and stop the chips, that is my weakness and they are salty. Good News : Go away and come back in 3 months better than today. I really love my old doctor, I hope he practices for many years to come. How was your day?
