Today, a 10th grader at a high school in Bridgeport, Michigan brought a gun to school. Another student somehow found out about this and immediately reported it to the authorities. The police came to the school, then sought out the young man who had a gun hidden in his book-bag. They arrested him without any resistance and he was also expelled from school. Thank God, nobody was shot or harmed because of this frightening incident! Photo:borrowed from Pixabay

This is happening much too frequently now. Will the day come when our children are safe in schools?

Its awful. They are in the works to build a new high school where I live and all the windows are going to be shatter resistant / bullet proof. How pathetic of a country are we that we are not safe in schools or churches?

But, dear Kharla. I often wonder: What kind of world we are living today? I would be wrong but I have a bad feeling that "the one who was sleeping, is waking up!". I mean, the evil one!

@kobesbuddy I agree . If they can’t keep them locked up they shouldn’t have them. I honestly think violent video games plays a part in this and kids should not be aloud to play them.
