I am hungry. I came back from my daughter´s house just now and although I ate a good lunch, I did not have a cup of coffee after that.
So, while I was answering my notifications, I thought that I´d have more things to say with a full tummy
So, here I am, back from the kitchen, with a mug of coffee and the rests of a delicious cheese and smoked ham grilled sandwich.
Sometimes I get depressed because I live alone. It is not that easy to find a good partner. But when I think that I have never been hungry, that I have good friends and a nice family, I feel that I am blessed.
The positive post (the grilled cheese post as I will call it) is finished and the dish where the sandwich was is empty. But this will not be my last rant nor my last sandwich.

You are blessed, but you can feel alone and sad too. it's normal.

Cheese sandwichs are delicious. And they are a well balanced meal if you add a green salad.

Your sandwich sounds very yummy. Me and my boyfriend do grilled cheese sandwiches with hard salami on it they are yummy.. Sounds like you had a good time at your daughters.

I've always like grill ham and cheese sandwiches. As a matter of fact, I think I'd like one right now, but I don't have any ham.I shall have to eat chicken strips instead. I also find that When I'm discouraged, counting my blessings, as you've done, helps. And when you feel discouraged living alone, remember that's it's more pleasant to live alone than be stuck in an happy or abusive relationship. I know many people who might rather live alone than with a current partner.

I agree about an abusive relationship. But I have never had one so I don´t even think that I could stand that.

@marguicha I've been unhappy sometimes, but my husband was never abusive. We just had some issues to work through. I suppose that happens in any relationship where people live in the same house.

I know. Lunch at my daughter´s was nice. I suppose I have to wait until Luna grows up. She is just a naughty puppy now.

Oh, my goodness. I am not really hungry, but the thought of a grilled cheese sandwich sounds so good! I can only eat turkey ham and mine is frozen, so it will be just cheese.
It's not always easy being alone, but there are good things about it. When it bothers me, as it does on rare occasion, I start thinking about all the things I enjoy about it.
