Why does my sister always need better than me?.

This has gone on our whole lives. I buy something for myself then she must get something better.
Years ago when I bought my old car (as I needed to replace my car), she suddenly I need a new car.
Now I bought a new car and she suddenly needs a new car but a bigger and mote expensive SUV. I sort of chuckled because I called it.
I got myself new clothes and she needs to get herself new clothes to show off.
I was looking at houses and she insisted oh I couldn't afford that. No!it's because she doesn't want me to buy it alone because she didn't.
I could never understand why she thinks like this and done this since we were kids

I think she's insecure.. hehe!! I have sisters also but they never do things like this, and I am thankful for that.

She keeps hinting of going. She went to Florida last month and keeps commenting how she can't afford another vacation. But as a few years ago when I went she did the same then showed up.

Sounds like she has a jealousy streak in her. I have known people like this. It can become annoying to be around them.

It really Is especially when I offered to buy her car off her and she said no. But once I bought a new car she now buying one

I forget, she's older than you? Maybe she's like my older sister, wanting to be the only girl of the family. My mother told me that when she brought me home from the hospital, my older sister actually hit her when she found out I was a girl and not the baby brother she'd ordered.
