Why is the penalty for a woman cheating always heavier than the one meted to the man

A post like this makes me ask the writer of the post where they live. What you've stated here may be true for your country but is not true for all countries all over the world. The word 'always' is certainly not correct. I live in Germany and can't discuss what you've written because here it doesn't happen like this.

This world is not fair. Like Ali Wong said, people keep asking you how you can balance your family and your work. But they will not ask this question to men. As men simply can't handle it!

Not sure where this applies. in India man cheating has legal consequences. woman cheating is allowed and no legal issue.

It happens in most part of the Asia.In India the condition of woman varies depending upon many factors like ,caste creed, religion ,place. Difficult to say when get rid of such medieval mentality.
