My Perfect Spot

Thank God its Friday! Not that I have anything special to go do this weekend but according to the calendar today and tomorrow is perfect for planting.
And since we are in the best month to plant I need to get the more okra, cucumber and herbs in dirt and growing. I also want to plant hollyhocks, sunflowers and marigolds.
I had to use the alarm clock this morning to get out of bed, I hit the snooze button and thought to myself when I did not want to get up, I am in my perfect spot. That spot in the bed that I was so comfortable.
But I must start my day.

@andriaperry No, we gave up our garden a few years ago. Its just the 2 of us and for the time spent on the work involved we just decided to plant flowers there and buy our vegetables in town. And we do not regret that decision.

@andriaperry I hope you find the time. My problem is getting motivated (and then staying motivated!) I've been doing a lot of writing on my tablet when I'm in bed, but then I don't end up sleeping.

Hubby and I will be leaving town in a while to go to Oklahoma. Then two and one half more days of school and then to Nebraska and Minnesota. In between I am trying to plant stuff.

I do have plans this weekend. I have a babyshower tomorrow night so im going out after work to get the things i need for the present at the babyshower and hopefully get a few things. Also tomorrow after the babyshower i will be seeing my boyfriend and catch up with things for him or possibly tonight he said if he needs medicine that i have that he would like. On Sunday if the weather is good i would like to go to the pool or the beach and hangout and just tqake a relaxing day and have his son with us. Hope you have a great weekend.

No plans - though I do plan to watch the royal wedding. I also plan to write. Other than that, it's a perfect weekend to stay in. We're getting rain Saturday and Sunday.

I hit the snooze button too this morning, only my snooze button was a little different. I don't use an alarm. I opened my eyes, looked at the clock. 1:30. I still had over an hour for sleep. Opened my eyes, it was 2:37. I told myself only 20 minutes more. I opened my eyes - I overslept - 3:23. I was out of bed like a shot. I got to the pool on time and in the water shortly after 5.
