My mylot timing is changed.Less than a week back I used to log into mylot in the afternoon when I returned home from my workplace. Now I try to join you late night. Right now when I'm typing these lines the time here is 3.05 a. m.I'm tired, but sleep is elusive. In such situations I generally read fairy tales or wildlife adventures, but now I don't feel like reading anything. The only thing I can somehow manage to do now is join you. So,I'm sharing my feelings through this post. After posting this discussion I'll retire to my bed as I have to get up at 5 a.m. Would anyone suggest me what I should do to fall fast asleep a bit earlier at night?? What should I do to free my mind of disturbing thoughts??

They said you need to clear your mind and close eyes as like meditating. I hope it works.

@Shavkat Right. But you know very well how difficult it is to stop thoughts coming , rather 'attacking' our mind.Especially if you are feeling exhausted and surrounded by troubles.Am I wrong??

@Shivram59 You have a point. But then, we can still try it. As they said, it is better to leave the problem in the office and vis-a-vis from the house.

@Shavkat You're are absolutely right. We should not give in.West should keep trying. But here the question is how to sleep. And a philosopher in our country,India, says, you sleep only when you stop all effortsorts completely. He asks, "if you go on trying, when will you sleep??

You need some one to talk in heart. If you share your thoughts then it may not rule you. If you try to kick off the thoughts then it will come to you more forcibly. Read some spiritual books or chant some slokas. By the way, may I ask you what is drubbing you?

@Shivram59 I understood the problem, which seems to be bit complicated. When in the case of relation and property we have to be very careful on handle it. We have to opt the path of peace like Gandhiji. Sit and talk with him, what he need to vacate. If he is willing for a compromise then things will be easy. Does not matter if he demands some money. You have to do that for maintaining peace in life. I know advising is easy and the implementation is not that much easy. Just shared my suggestions, you know better, if it works or not.

@Sreekala You are right..What you have suggested is right , but we have already tried it , not only I ,but his own brothers, too. What he wants is that myself and/or his own brothers should pay the rent of the house he would live in after vacating the upstairs. Is not it too much? Neither me nor his own brothers can afford to pay Rs.5000-6000 every month until their house is constructed. And even if myself and his brothers decide to pay the amount combinely, would it not amount to appeasing a fellow who is insatiable??

@Sreekala There are many things that don't let me sleep. For example, hindrances in the construction of our new house. My late elder brother'so sons live in the upstairs of the house we live in.We live just below them in the downstairs. They and us have agreed on getting the house partitioned - they will occupied the half of the house and the frontal half will be occupied by us. They are five brothers.Four of them have left the house and hired other houses to live in till the construction of their house is completed. But one of the five brothers has refused to vacate the upstairs. Our problem is that we can't start construction of our house, because he is living upstairs. We don't want to take the matter to court as it might worsen the situation. But,at the same time, are not in a position to wait any longer. This is only one of the reasons of my stress. We don't want to take the matter to court.

They say it takes 30 days to develop a habit. I suppose you could just go to bed earlier and even if you don't fall asleep right away, eventually you will, and if you do it long enough your body will just get used to it.
