This evening around 5 pm we went outside to work, We as Tony was removing the leaky outside water facet and me his "go for." Southern slang is "Go fer" I had to cut a few yellow flag blooms out of the way so I cut a bouquet for the inside. While he got busy I went to gathering, first was the daisies, aka chamomile, and then to the roses, if they looked like yesterdays roses they got picked and this bush smells nice and last to the spearmint. Next we went to the garden, laid a sting and I dug the furrow to lay the seed, (the hard part!) Tony sowed the seed and covered. Back inside Tony took a shower first, while I walked the dogs and petted the cat. I finally got a bath and I was glad I had made seafood salad before going outside, it was nice and cold for dinner. I just cleaned the roses and put them into water to make rose water, The daisies are on the drying racks and the mint is in oil to make spearmint scented/flavored oil. Now I get to rest and mylot. I do have a back ache. How is your Friday night?
