One discussion or many?

This topic is being discussed in a different comment thread. It annoys me no end if someone clogs the comment thread with one meaningless post after the other and pushes other posts to the bottom. I avoid them and don't Like or comment on them. No cents from me.

I am not even able to post one per day. Most of those who post 10 discussions, write meaningless posts where it is not even possible to leave an interesting comment.

I also post one post or maximum two per day and wait for few days before posting the next one! Thanks !

No. I joined here last 21 March but I only posted 12 discussions.. I rarely post my own discussion

I too not post many discussions, day before yesterday only I started three, that happened on situation and I never started more than two before. It is hard for me to start many because of the time limit. I wish to interact more and I think that pays more. If you have time to handle then you can start many, but interaction must be there. However, members do not appreciate too many discussions in a raw from same member.

I could post 10 plus a day. Yet then the post quality would not be good for all posts.

Yes, I am the same as you.. not very many and sometimes none at all. I f I do more than that I would not be able to keep up.

I have 12 posts this month and 23 the last month. Should give you some idea about how prolific I am at this. LOL

if your strategy is to "milk" one topic from all "angles", then i guess you'll never run out of ideas. for example: 1. do you like cake? 2. have you baked a cake? 3. did you ever eat a cake you did not like? 4. what cake would you like to eat again? 5. when do like you eat cake? 6. can you eat cake every day? etc, etc. you get the idea.

I don't think I can post that much. One or two discussions a day would be fine.

I am not able to post more than 10 discussions a day. I only have 16 under my name and I cannot force myself to write if my brain is not cooperating always. heehhe

I post on an average once in a week. Most of my interactions are responding to discussions and comments.

While doing some interaction here sometimes ideas are coming in so we can always have the opportunity to post something. I am just hoping that it can have substance. Who are we to judge our fellow mylot members. We don't think alike so whatever we post we can get a different responses from everyone here. Post whatever you think worthy of your time to read I'm sure others may have the same feeling. One or two post are enough for me but not everyday. I spent a lot of time reading than responding that's my problem.

I probably don't even post 10 discussions a year, let alone in one day! haha Mostly the reason is because I have so many current notifications to go through that I don't have time to write new posts. I don't have a lot of time to spend on myLot each day, so when I'm on here I tend to spend the entire time trying to get through my notifications. But sometimes on weekends I'll get caught up, and then I'll write a post because I have more time to commit to it.

@sprite1950 I used to try and post alot but now a days I do not always have something to say so I go into others and may get an idea from their posts.

Sometimes I only post one discussion during a week, I don't post many discussions as I don't have fresh ideas every day.

@sprite1950 I initiate only one discussion in four or five days.I lack ideas.

I tend to think it comes down to having a good balance of posting, commenting, and responding. I think it's sort of like the ecosystem. You take one thing away and the whole thing goes out of whack.
