In summer we can't escape from taking cool drinks heavily...
Children are very much interested in having them all the time...
I mostly use 7up, coco-cola, thumps up and other brands....
But i always prefer to have fruit salads and juices rather than cool drinks in summer....
Here, now onwards i want to know the merits and demerits of taking cool drinks to cool our body...
Just only for feeling, most of the people intend to take these drinks...
If there actually any benefits found, then only i can proceed to have them gradually...
Please suggest me and guide for the ways....

I drink a lot of cold water this summer season. I remember a doctor said that it is okay.

@Raj7779 Oh, my apologies. I think those cold drinks are not healthy and that is what I drink most of the time.

May it be in summer or in any season aerated cold drinks are harmful for health, it is better to stay away from them! Especially kids should be discouraged to have these drinks and they should be explained about the bad effects of these drinks! Thanks!

I received a message two days ago, mentioning that the soft drinks are contains more pesticides. I am not a person who drink soft drinks. I use it very rarely in unavoidable circumstances, like travel in hot sun and get only that stuff instead of water, I drink. Otherwise I avoided it completely. I prefer plain water.

Drinking too much of cold drinks in summer is not good. Fizzy drinks contains caffeine which makes us addicted to it. It is okay to have fizzy drinks once in a while in summers. You can drink cold water or buttermilk, which is a very good drink for the summers.
