Losing confidence in looking for a job

I had just resigned from my job. Worked 3 months as Admin Assistant but was treated like an enemy and a dog. Instead of getting encouragement or condolence or advice from my spouse, I got a bad lecture. Now, I am losing confidence in myself, losing confidence in finding another job. Maybe I should just stay at home ?

Oh, I'm so sorry. Don't give up just because some people are mean-spirited. Keep looking and the right job will come along.

I'm sorry you've had so much stress. It must have been a difficult decision. I've talked to a couple of people recently who quit their job because they were so unhappy. They were stressed out all the time! Afterwards, they took jobs that paid less money, but they were actually happier. Maybe you can find a job working from home?

A good online that pays well isn't easy to find. I believe what you said about being paid less but working happily might be the solution

Do not let others pull you down. The more you listen to them, the more you will lose confidence on yourself. Cheer up, you can do it.

You may stay at home, but have a work-from-home job for you to avoid another bad lecture again. You may try being a freelance worker. Work online. You will have more time for yourself and your family. But be sure, before you settle being a freelancer, you've anticipated all the expenses you need to iron out in doing the transition.

do you mean freelancer in writing for articles?

@peachpurple Yes, that's one. But there are different kinds of freelance work online: data entry, virtual assistant, social media manager, etc. You may even find something that is very suitable for your skills. In fact, if you really want to market your offline skills, you may do so. Try posting it online and see if you can find clients. Who knows, you may find a long-term work online in no time.

Try not to let that bother you, even though I know it's hard. For over 35 years, I went through that. Always the negative, you will find another job. My husband is in a nursing home now. Just remember God has your back. He certainly had mine.

Your partner should stay understanding. I worked as a supply teacher in my second year of teaching. I taught a class and the head teacher asked if i wanted to step in for the nursery manager. The morning was with one groups of children and then another group of children in the afternoon. I wasn't able to call a register like I did as a teacher. I didn't enjoy that job as a nursery manager. Try asking your partner to be more comforting to you. Good luck and only choose another job if you like it.

It can be hard looking for work. I haven't had the easiest time either. I'm sorry that you had a lecture. Hopefully you find something.

I liked temping, it gets you into a place and if you and the employer like each other it can turn permanent but this way you get to see exactly what you are getting into before you actually work for them.

Today there are many ways to find a job. I think probably you can find a lot of job recruits via the net. Besides, perhaps you can see whether your friends or relatives will be helpful in providing recruits information. Sometimes having a connection will be easier to get a job. Good luck!

Don't give up, people are mean and always try to defend their jobs attacking others. I am sure you will find a new and good job.
