May Grey and June Gloom in San Diego

I love to describe my current hometown as "Sunny San Diego". It is true that the suns shines brightly here for most of the year. However, the months of May and June are renowned for having weather that is overcast and cloudy for most of the day.
Today, it looks as though there may even be a small amount of rain. This is about as "Winter-like" as it gets here. It's a great day to snuggle on the sofa or do some sewing with a hot water bottle close by.

@BellaDoc Yes my azaleas and lilacs are in bloom and May flowers are growing wild everywhere.

Sometimes I really miss the seasons. I hope that you are warm inside. Are there many flowers making an appearance in Connecticut @BelleStarr ? I'm happy to be able to pop back in here, and pleased to see lots of familiar names :)

We're having a very soggy rainy day here today and I've been curled up with a book and some relaxing music. I'm sure the sun will once again bring the weather California is noted for.
