The air pollution in Beijing is so severe that imported fresh air from Canada are now being sold in spray cans. Remember centuries ago, clean drinking water is free and now you pay money for it. This one looks like a grimmer and darker future. People will be breathing in cans to stay alive. The video below shows a mom who spends money to buy canned Canadian air so her daughter can have better breathing because she is having lung issues. It is really sad that a mom must spend her money for air so her daughter can have a better quality of life.
Beijing is shrouded under a toxic haze again, as the city enters the fourth and final day of its 'red alert'. The measures are aimed at trying to curb the ci...

@Jessabuma The air pollution is so severe, a man is able to make bricks out of the air.
China just issued the highest smog warning possible in Beijing making this artist's call for awareness that much more important. He spent 400 hours vacuuming...

I wonder if the news is true. But around me, no one buys fresh air. That sounds horrible. The air is really polluted, but it is not necessary to buy fresh air.

@caopaopao Its one of the reason why I dont like living in concrete cities. I still prefer being surrounded by trees.

I think its more of a thing for richer people from Beijing. I mean it's China's equivalent of New York and New York is also bad when it comes to breathable air.

@CaptAlbertWhisker that is a good question. I do not know much about Beijing but I do know many crowded European cities like Paris have many parks and green spaces so I don't know why other cities cannot do the same. I took a look online and there are many parks in Beijing,
Living in Beijing can be suffocating at times. There are times where you want to escape the city, without actually leaving Beijing. Our Best Parks in Beijing list will help you find the perfect park to help you escape the city. Why not enjoy the best parks

I think the oil industry must die and people should go solar and use biofuel.

I think this is exaggeration. Perhaps these people shall live with an oxygen mask I think the air in Beijing is not good, but it will not go that bad all the time. If this mom can afford buying canned fresh air from Canada, it is better for them to move there or Hainan Province or somewhere else. The money will not cost so much any way. Why they have to stay in Beijing? In fact the worst pollution is in Mongolia and that's quite surprising to know.

I think only the upper middle class people in Beijing who buys these canned air. I think they don't want to leave Beijing because that is where the money is. It is polluted but it has ton of career opportunities. I hard working person with proper education can go far in Beijing but yeah their lungs will suffer.

Zabol in Iran and Gwalior in India I think have the worst air pollution. Beijing though is most infamous because their smogs can turn into bricks,
