Remember these TV series? These are some of the series I love watching from long ago. Even in movies, my favorite would always be stories of horror, suspense, supernatural, psychological thrills, and mysteries. Stories of these classics appeals to me with ironic twist and unexpected endings. Have you watched these shows before? Twilight zone https://youtu.be/NzlG28B-R8Y

The Twilight Zone is one of my all time favorites. I love Alfred Hitchcock, too. There were a few others, too. Boris Karloff had a show called Thriller which was very good. Another one was called One Step Beyond and of course, The Outer Limits. And there are still others. The 1950's and 60's were a gold mine for paranormal shows.

I love those shows! I used to love watching horror shows and movies but they turned into nothing but shock-fests full of blood, gore, and little else. The old horror tv shows and movies relied on good writing, good acting, mood lighting, and truly scary incidents. I think what made them scary was their portrayal of the darkest side of the human heart and mind. Any violence was usually off screen, depicted as shadows on a wall, or cut off at a critical point before blood was spilled--and that was even scarier because it left the rest to my fertile imagination! I don't like the modern "horror" offerings. But Hitchcock and Serling were masters of the genre!

Very well said, indeed! I still enjoy watching horror movies up to now, but like you've said I don't like those baseless, story less horror movies that contain nothing but gruesomeness, blood and gore. Those kind of horror movies or shows, I don't watch.
