I view birthday as a Celebration of Life. I never know of any person within my personal experience who is not happy during his or her birthday. As for me, birthday is always a time to be thankful to your parents, to God and to all your friends and love ones and for everything in life. I always celebrate my birthday in a very simple way: by prayer. How about you my friend how do you celebrate your birthday? Picture credit: popsugar.com.au

I know this will sound weird to some of you. But I am not excited or celebrate my birthday. It is just an ordinary day for me. But I am always excited and planning for parties for my family during their special day.

I used to have parties growing up, but now I just keep everything low key. My parents will get a cake with a card and a present or two and I'll usually just stay home. Then I'll usually go out with some friends the following weekend because they always want to celebrate. I am going to do that Sunday, actually. My birthday was Tuesday, the 22nd.

When I was a kid my mom always throw a small party during my birthday. When I got a little bit older my mum still does the same. But when I got married, I celebrate my birthday simpler than before. Usually, I just go to church and eat out together with my husband.

In fact my birthday is not a very important day for me. I never need to have a party to celebrate it. It is fine to have a good time with my family and eat something nice and that's all.

Before, when I was still healthy. I don't celebrate Birthdays and for me, it's just an ordinary day for me, but we always go to church and offer prayers of good health and blessings. When I got sick, I always celebrated my Birthday by offering prayers and go out with the boyfriend, and have dinner. Sometimes, if I have a budget I cook food and have dinner with Family.
