First Golf Weekend in the Books

The 2018 season started for us this weekend. As usual, we brought the rain with us. Our tournaments were in a suburb of Cincinnati. We played a four-round tourney on Saturday. I managed to finish third in my division. It was a limp to the finish line for me, because I do not play well in bad conditions, and in the middle of the third round we endured a 30-minute rain delay. Some players (especially the pro division) can adjust to the changing conditions. I'm not that good. Today we played six rounds. I got too hot during the last round, and it really showed in my playing. I'd managed to make it through five rounds with only two bogeys. I went bogey crazy in the last round, shooting just one under in that round. It cost me, as I finished one spot out of money. My fault: I should've taken more breaks. Now that I'm back home I'm feeling better, as far as the heat stress goes. My body is feeling the after-effects of all the walking I did all weekend, with my feet and back screaming at me. That's okay. I'll rest up and get ready for the next tournament by catching up with things here! Our theme song:
