The other day I was in town and came across agroup of people that had gathered around a man and women.. and they all had their mobile phone/ cameras taking photos....
so of course I went and had a look... and it was a man and woman dressed in a bygone days costumes, and painted completely bronze, they were street mime artists... pretending to be staues... they were very good... they stood still for ages and then would quickly change their positions, with a flourish... to attract peoples attention... and caused several surprise reactions from passers by... who would then stand and admire their costumes for a few minutes and some people were taking photos and putting some money in a bowl nearby...
I thought they were very good... and I wondered how long it would take them to get ready in the mornings ...
I'm fairly sure I would not be able to stand still like that for very long...
see post photo ...

no I don't know how they manage it either Anna @LadyDuck and like you...I don't think that much make up can be any good for their skin but Ido think it's quite a skillful thing to do artistically...

@sueznewz2 They are incredibly good, I hope they are aware about the danger of the paint on their skin.

Oh my goodness, I have heard of these "statue mimes"! How neat! They are very disciplined- I would move for sure or start giggling!

@sueznewz2 Don't think I'd want to try it either! What if a bee or a fly landed on you--haha!

You got an awesome photo, but standing still makes me have aches and pains. I could not do it.
