How Do You Feel About Church?

I have always loved church. I was raised in church. The last few years, though, as I have aged, I view life differently. I still want to go and be a part of a local body of believers but I don’t think you should have to be stuck in a church in which you are miserable. I also don’t think you have to be there every time the doors open. I used to preach that because it is shat I was taught. But the Bible does not say that and the Bible is the authority, not church leaders. Maybe something is wrong with me. Lately, I just feel like the life is being sucked out.

I have the impression that as you've aged, you've become wiser.

Talk to God about how you feel coz nothing can really help you but Him. A relationship with God is what you need. He said give all your burdens to Him and I will give you rest.God bless!

There is the Bible verse in John 4:23 that says 23But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. That tells me that you can worship Him anywhere, in a Church or outside a Church.

I understand how you feel. I love our church, but except for God, I don't feel very loved there. But where else to go? We don't want to quit church, I believe we are not to forsake assembling together, but are we making any difference for the Kingdom?
