So, anyway, I sit next to a window..and I like to look out. Some movement caught my attention outside. I thought at first it was a large bird like a pheasant or a turkey,,upon closer inspection it was a deer eating the leaves off a tree maybe 50 feet from me. Since I was inside and the window was open with only the screen in it..I thought maybe I could get a pic..so I grabbed my cellphone..sadly, the deer wasn't showing up in the pic. I was hoping it might ander into focus..but it just retreated further back into the woods. It was really fun watching it eat the leaves though. You usually can't get close enough to watch them eat. They will generally alert and take off..

I can't take photos through the screen either. The camera focuses on the screen instead of through it. Usually when I try to open the screen it scares everything away. I just saw a coyote on my property eek.

That is a little scary..Some people who are acquaintances of mine..not really sure where they are in the county though..took a pic of a bear behind their house with a night vision camera.

I don't think the screen was the problem..the sun was reflecting weirdly..and the deer was blending in with the surroundings.

One of the things I miss about Colorado, we watched them all the time and here we see nothing. Isn't it relaxing to watch the wildlife that close, too bad you couldn't get the pic.

I really am envious that you get to see deer and other wonderful animals upfront.
