I write blogs. I feel like my words are 'truer' (more 'facts I've learned elsewhere' than 'my personal suppositions & opinions) if I 'hyperlink' to the facts' sources. So of-course I hear about 'ways to make money off of some of those links.' There are 'affiliate-networks' where sponsors pay the network to have us-writers link to them from our blogs, but here's an affiliate-network that's like that with the main difference being that 'the sponsor doesn't have to be [b]on[/i] the network!' (That is: I can link to a company with 'a VigLink-link' for FREE, the company will see that a VigLink-link is getting them more business and hopefully will realize that--if they pay VigLink to program them as an option for ALL the VigLink-bloggers to promote--we'll all make more money!) https://www.viglink.com/?vgref=3366899 And if they don't want to spend a little to get a lot more, that's fine! But which sites do I 'redirect' (clicking a special bookmarklet Viglink gives lets me see if the site I'm looking-at will ALLOW such a redirect): basically; if my Adguard AdBlocker counts 10-or-more popups blocked, I figure the site has 'extra swag in its hold' that it wants me to plunder ... yArr ...

10 pop-ups would be way too many.

for 'old school' information-databases, maybe. But today, some blogs/sites are more like 'next-gen. broadcast-TV'---the 'pop-ups' are their "commercial break."
