Waiting for the impending apocalypse

Hello everyone! How are you? Currently, I am waiting for the impending micro apocalypse, at least that is what I am calling it. Our water is being shut off today! No it isn't because we didn't pay the bill or water. My mamma is very good at doing that. But the entire neighborhood I believe is going to be without water sooner because they are shutting it down for repairs. I woke up fairly late because I thought they were going to do repairs in the morning when it was cooler out, but apparently, I was wrong because they haven't done anything yet! We have so much water, we wanted to be prepared, we have a 5 gallon bucket, a pitcher, so many water bottles. We wanted to make sure we had water for any means necessary. And yet nothing has happened yet. So I am waiting for our micro apocalypse, just sipping water and about to start working. Oh boy, what a time.

we had water shortage for 2 days and we believe this is due to the shortage of water from the dams.

@DesirousDreamer does your grandmother have the deep-well, or the pump well?

That is insane! We were without water for a few days because we got new piping, but thankfully my grandma lives next door so we were able to have water.

@DesirousDreamer Gotta love how they get you all worked up for an impending apocalypse, and then nothing happens! At least you were prepared just in case.

@Srbageldog Right? It is the bath salts crisis all over again! What does a girl have to do to get a few zombies around here? Ugh! Haha!

It never turned off, so I'm thinking they were able to fix what they needed to fix without turning the water off for everyone.
