Will Prince Harry's marriage last?

So the Royal Wedding is over and an emotional day for many. It was more Hollywood than expected and the themes of racial unity somewhat overdone on the day. A lot of fuss has been made out of Megan's 34% black genes but if we didn't know she had a black mother we would never be able to tell to comment on it. If she was, however, the color of Oprah Winfrey there is no way Harry would be allowed to marry her. Babies with curls and Afros would be just too much for the British Establishment. Harry's body language was very nervous at the altar, not surprisingly, although i read it was he was questioning what he was doing than shi**ing himself (which lip readers claim he said at the altar) Sometimes you just marry someone as the momentum demands it. I will give it three years tops. She will be just too pushy for Harry and the family. That was Diana's downfall. Megan has rubber-stamped her feminism with a statement on her link of the royal website but very much 'feminism lite' as she has given up her job, home, country and dogs to be a princess, which she isn't, anyway, as she doesn't qualify for it. If she does get to be publicly political about her feminist views she is inviting an onslaught by the British tabloid press. We dont like a hypocrite.

They have only started dating a year and 4 mos ago. William and Kate had been together 7 yrs before their marriage. I don't see this lasting long. Harry was envious of his brother's marriage and he felt out of place in public appearances with them. I hope it lasts, but I'm skeptical.

I've never found their whole "love story" to be believable and she seems like a social climber to me. I'm with you on the 3 years thing. I'd give it a 3-5 year range before they are divorced. Even if they are desperately in love (which I doubt) she is a free-spirited, independent American woman. I don't think living the "laws" of the Royal Family will work for her.

I'm not particularly concerned about the lives of these celebrities. But I still hope that all married people will be happy for a long time. Let's wait for the test of time.

From my view it may not last as she is not the profile fit into the royal family. The pastor she used in the wedding was causing uncomfort for the royals.

I really don’t care about them. Most of us liked Diana and her boys . We enjoyed watching them get married. Wish them the best of luck.

Well put it this way, I could not watch the wedding at all. And Diana was tops in my book.

I do not believe it will last for long. She was more than happy to marry a Royal, now her name is famous, thing that was not at all true before she married Harry.

their love story is quite untold, don't you think? They just go out of public two months or so and then they are getting married already. Well, I wish them happy years of married life

The press sure has had a field day with it. I'm not into celebrities so I really hardly care what they are doing.

Any marriage brings on the partners a set of compromises and readjustments. Both of them are mature enough to understand it. I hope they will make it work.

We will find out in time. Harry was nervous. He kept scratching his cheek and nose. You can never tell what will happen in a marriage.
