Eagle Fire Department Battalion Fire Chief Nevil Humphreys who has 25 years of experience had to deal with a very irregular rescue on Sunday. A concerned citizen called the Eagle Fire Department on Sunday morning to report the news that a beaver who was trying to go back to his home in a creek. The problem was that the beaver could not get his behind through the fence. The Eagle Firefighters used a Halligan bar and lashing to pull apart the bars of the fence apart so that the beaver could go back to the creek free as can be. What makes this story interesting is that the beaver was upset at the firefighters when they used the bar and lashing to pry the bars apart so he could leave the area by hissing at them since he probably thought the firefighters were trying to harm him.

Even my own puppy is not sure if newcomers will harm her. Probably a feral creature has more fears. I´m glad it all turned out well.

At the end of the day, the beaver must have understood the firefighters were trying to help him.

I am sure the beaver was angry when he was stuck on the fence when the firefighters tried to rescue him out of frustration.

That is true. At least the beaver is happy that the Eagle Firefighters came to get him out of his jam.
