About The Vegetable Garden

I start many plants inside and I also sow seed straight into the ground. Last week I did the garden planting. I plant by the moon (old farmers Almanac) I check on the garden every day since I spotted rabbits wandering in it. I now have squash and one row of okra up with its big pretty new leaves. I seen the cucumbers are busting open and tiny green bent stems are breaking ground. The bell pepper plants I started by seed inside are now blooming. The tomatoes the first round are giving me tomatoes, small but.... the others I grew from seed have taken to the outside and have grown several inches. The poor eggplants, they look so tiny, I hope they make it. How is your garden growing?

the one thing I wish I had was a garden. It would be so nice to get up and pick my own vegetables Your garden sounds like it's coming along nicely.

@andriaperry No garden here but I'm thinking of planting some things in pots on my deck. Is it too late to plant?

Yes it is, do you have flower beds ? Plant a tomato there with the flowers, I used to do that all the time. you can do a squash plant, or bell pepper plant.

I envy you. I am never good with vegetables. Those plants know I am not keen eating them, so they have refused to grow so far. I have some tomatoes in flowers right now, but they are cherry type (and Cherry tomatoes do not count to me LOL). I wish I could grow some okra, it has become an obsession to me, to plant some!
