Finally the birthday celebration is fully over

You might have read about the plans for my daughters birthday party which was Saturday. It went great! One small hitch to the otherwise perfect day was an old woman who broke down and stopped to use my phone. She was telling me all these crazy stories about her brother in law.
My boyfriend came over Sunday which made my daughter happy as she wanted to see her on her “birthday weekend”.
Monday was my daughters birthday. We got up a half hour early so she could open her presents before school. Photo is of her presents wrapped up in the wrapping paper she got to choose.
Around 10am I took my puppy for a walk down back of my house and I spotted a coyote. Thankfully I saw it before my dog did and quick put her on her leash and we went back inside.
When my boyfriend got home from work we all went to the mall so my daughter and his son could spend their birthday money.
My daughter wanted to eat at Pizza Hut. The first one wound up not being open anymore, the second one wound up being just an express one with no seats to sit and eat, finally at the third one we were able to eat! That was a lot of time and gas wasted trying to find an open one. The food was delicious!
We stopped at a record store and Walmart to grab some cookies and ice cream and went home and ate them and went to bed.
Tonight after dinner my sister, my parents and my nieces and nephew came over and had cookies and cake with us since my father came to town for her birthday but we didn’t get to see him the night before because we got home so late.

i love the wrappers. if your dog saw the coyote, would she have chased it? or the other way around?

@hereandthere The wrapping paper was what my daughter chose. I always buy it from the Dollar general but was shocked this time how thin it in. It was ripping as I was trying to wrap the gifts. I am not sure about what would have happened with the coyote but it's scary to think about. I won't let her off her leash anymore unless my boyfriends bigger dog is here with her to protect her.

@snowy22315 even my son who didn't want to go originally had a good time. He had money he has been saving up and spent some of it while we were out. He doesn't usually go shopping with us but next time he wants to go again he said because he saw really good deals on things he wants to buy.

@anikoonline this is less gifts then other years but since her gifts are getting more costly per item (record player etc) I guy less gifts. I have a budget amount I try to stick to for my kids birthdays.

@shaggin Staying on the budget is always a good idea. I like getting and giving many gifts, even if they are cheaper. It's fun to open all the boxes.

Sounds like you had a great time, and while Pizza Hut does not rank as a favorite of mine, a pizza still sounds mighty good. Might need to put one on the list very soon. If I don't get one with the wife I might sneak one in on my next business trip in a hotel when I travel in June.

I love pizza hut stuffed crust pizza. On the last day of school my kids get to choose a place to go out and eat again. My daughter wanted to go back to pizza hut but I was hoping to try a new pizza place. We will see I guess. It's only a week away already until the last day of school!
