A Bikini Type of Day

Boy, did it warm up here today!
I only did three things.
Morning walk
Laundry
Plant more annuals
In addition I went to the beach!!! It was the perfect day for the beach. I went with my husband and two other couples. I packed towels, sunblock, a hat, and a cooler with all kinds of goodies to share. My husband brought lounge chairs and a blanket.
It was a beautiful day! The water was a bit cool, but we got used to it. We had a picnic lunch with our friends, and we all went out to a beachy type restaurant for dinner.
I'm all showered, but a bit pooped from all that sea air.
And yes, all three women wore bikinis, hence no photo!!!!

Thanks @DianneN I'm so glad I could make you giggle.
Carol called me the day after to tell me that she was so pooped after she got home that she fell asleep on her couch and was awoken by their overgrown GSD Flynn. She's not used to a dogs really wet nose in her face ..... Flynn likes to stick his muzzle deeply into the water when drinking then will go to someone to wipe the excess water off, it's happened to me twice so now I'm watchful when I visit.

Not nearly as exciting as you, exercise at the pool, shopping at Stew Leonards and lunch on wonderful hotdogs at Berlin Pizza.

@DianneN It is and they have those 10-inch hotdogs with the skins that pop!! We have been going there and their previous location since we were teenagers.

It was a watering hose kind of day here! Where you work so much you are a pool of sweat and you stand under the cold water of the water hose.

@lnillerman I was raised on the beach and can't imagine not living close to one. At least you have a pool and big lake to cool off in!

@DianneN Well Dianne, tell me something I don't know! Of course you have an entire shoreline full of beaches! That's why I wanted to know which one you went to! LOL Although I guess it really doesn't matter, because it's not like I'm going to hop in my truck and come join you! haha
Although with all this rain we've been getting, and this tropical storm sitting off our western coast, a road trip may not be a bad idea!

@moffittjc LOL!!!! We went to West Haven beach. I doubt you know it, but we used to live there.
I heard of all that rain and the tropical storm. That's why I prefer CT this time of year. I bet flights to FL are cheap now.

Don't have the beach weather here yet. Today it threatened rain but just stayed mostly cloudy. I just cuddled up on the sofa with a blanket and mylotted all day.
