Rotten Chicken, The Snake and Lawn Mower

Last night I wrote about the bad chicken I bought, the plan to take it back and get my money back, no more chicken from that place. As soon as I walked in the store with the bag one of the cashiers said "Chicken?" She called the one in charge. The young lady that runs the store is very pretty, she knows it too, and she politely told me I could not have my money back without a receipt but I was more than welcome to get more chicken and she would open it to make sure its fresh, I told her " No thanks! Plus I am going to work and there is no where keep it." She made a face said " I`m sorry." I walked out of the store carrying 10 pounds of rotten chicken, But that is not where this story ends, because Tony knows the owner! And I have shopped at the main store for 33 years! The main store and office is three blocks my old home place where I was headed to work. He took the nasty chicken inside the office and told her the problem, she sent him across the parking lot to the store to give it to them and get the money back. No problems. The boss man said it was time for him to make a visit to that store and to check the meat cooler. I would love to tell the lady at the one store, "I am older and wiser, I sure the hell know the big man in charge" but I won`t. I am sure she will not mention the owner came in. My sister kept calling but she did not leave a message. I left one on her phone when she did not answer. Seems there was a very big snake in her front yard and she had put a block on its back to keep it from getting away, she called the police since no one was around, then one of my tenants came out and killed it for her. I told her she needs a shovel near, to chop its head off, it was a rattle snake and it was 6 foot long. I think I got an awesome deal on the lawnmower, I used it and got done in no time. But I did not leave soon we cut trees down, Tomorrow I plan to work more there is the weather permits. How was your day?
