It sounds weird, right? I am sure people who are into business can relate to such statement, especially if they are in sales. As a Salesman, he or she needs to sell himself or herself to sell his or her products or items. It could be in the form of online or offline. I, myself sell myself online. Since I am teaching online, I need to give good impressions to target online students. If not, then I would not be able to have booked classes. Thus, I learned how to sell myself wholesomely.
“How about you, guys?
“Any concerns about selling oneself?”

I sell myself in a way that constitutes my products. I also sell myself based on my knowledge and experiences.

@mlgen1037 hahaha! thank you, hija. yes, i agree. i would choose somebody who's got the brains and the intelligence, over somebody who just flaunts the body and the smile (which for all i know, may be fake and that of a user).

Hi po. I would definitely choose you over someone who just sells oneself because of a beautiful face and sexy body but has no experience and wisdom to back it up once the body is of no use.

@ridingbet That's really an advantage of us with great experience in certain fields. However, sometimes if we are overqualified, some institutions or companies will not hire us. We are the threat.lol

I agree with you, my friend. From some point of view, most of us are selling ourselves. Good to know that you are a teacher, too.

@caopaopao As a teacher. we also do the same thing. For the reason that we wanted to have a high-performance evaluation from our students.

I am constantly having to sell myself. Why? Well, I do a lot of writing online as well as poetry and if I get lucky I get approached online to send my poems or articles for publication. Then, of course, come the questions like how did you get started, why do you do what you do and on and on and I have to put myself in the very best light possible.

None at all. I worked in sales an marketing for many years and my sales self was more friendly and affable than my real self.
